Kinsale (twice).

Our roommates Claire & Kristin took us on a Sunday drive to Kinsale, south of Cork, and along the coast for some awesome views and little beaches. Marc was excited for his long hair to blow in the ocean breeze....as you'll see in the first picture.

The first stop was Charles Fort, built in the 17th century and had great views looking towards Kinsale harbour, here to Marc's right...

...and leading to the ocean...

...and the panorama version...

This picture is on all posters and postcards for Kinsale...

...and this is just around the corner.

...and another pretty street in Kinsale

We drove along the coast and saw a prestigious golf course, some great cliff views (but no pictures unfortunately!), and to this beach, popular with surfers....can't remember the name.

...and to another little beach closer to Kinsale that was really quiet and secluded, but apparently gets packed on the few days of hot weather that Ireland has.

These two flower pictures are for the Mom's, there are lots of flowers in full bloom now...I took these yesterday when I went to Kinsale to do some more shopping...

And more importantly, I went to meet up with Becky, Rosella, and Jim! Old neighbours from Brunner days, but nice to see some familiar faces :)
